Hi folks! Thank you to everyone who stopped by at Anime Expo and Anime Midwest. We hope you are enjoying your comics! 

We have received the White Heron statues from our producer and the full batch of White Heron comics arrived at the warehouse this morning!! That means... SHIPPING! 

If you are in the U.S. you can anticipate receiving your rewards starting Monday. I will be working as quickly as possible starting with the larger packages so that I can clear some space in my VERY full garage! If you ordered a book/statue combo package, you may receive TWO shipments since media shipping is at a different rate than dolls/statues/etc. 

If you are one of our lovely International backers, I will be starting to ship to you MONDAY, so you can anticipate receipt of your rewards starting the following week. Again, I will move as quickly as possible to get you your rewards.

I WILL be getting tracking numbers for all shipments, but, in the interest of moving to packing as quickly as possible, I will NOT be e-mailing them to everyone. If you are worried about a delayed package, please contact me and I will work with you to track down your reward.

Finally, if you backed for a White Heron Limited Edition Statuette, please take note of the following:

The statuette is LARGE. Like... collectible Barbie/G.I. Joe size. In order to keep the cape from being damaged, she will come in 4 pieces as pictured above.

 Settle the main body onto the base, then gently lower the cape into the notches on her shoulders.

 Finally, gently lower the head onto the neck, being careful of her hair. There is a groove on her neck that matches up with a notch on the headpiece. The head and body are magnetized, so no glue is necessary to keep White Heron standing tall!

Okay, so, it's not the full batch YET, but we got a preview box of White Heron Issue 1 in the mail yesterday. The rest are on the way, but we will have these lovely books available for backers to pick up at Anime Expo in LA THIS WEEKEND or at Anime Midwest in Chicago NEXT WEEKEND. Please just have your backer page/email available so that I can mark you off!

The rest of the books should be arriving shortly! I'm so glad to FINALLY have these in my hands! It's our first new series in 7 years, so it's pretty thrilling!

I know there have been issues with the digital copies and I am working to rectify that, so please bear with me. I'll have e-mails out for you with the proper download link before I fly out to LA on Friday. 

Statues are still mid-shipment, but I'll start getting packages out soon! *Phew* It's always a breath of relief when I see the project finally starting to wrap up!

Hi folks! Happy May!

We will be sending out digital downloads starting today, so keep your eyes peeled for an e-mail if you backed a digital tier (or added a digital reward!)

Books have (finally) started printing. We wanted to add as many bonus pages as possible, but unfortunately that dragged out the process. Our fantastic artist, Fernando, was given the amazing opportunity to work with Dark Horse on their Dragonage comic series. Understandably, his commitments and deadlines with Dark Horse had to come first, especially as the bonus pages were not originally part of his schedule with us. He came through with some amazing bonus pages, so I hope you'll forgive the delay and enjoy the extra story material!

Our printer, Kraken Print, is dedicated to providing us with the comics ASAP, so we are looking at potentially just a couple weeks of delay on the books. I will definitely keep you posted as the work progresses.

I will likely begin shipping some of the Spinnerette statue rewards soon, so double check your BackerKit surveys for accurate addresses please :)

In the meantime, enjoy this preview page which has never been posted online!

Progress Report! Statues, new pages and Ship It Now!

Howdy Backers! 

A few bits of progress to report as we get closer to our shipping target of May! 

1) Statue sculpt has been finalized and the first painted model has been produced. Subject to final approval by Fernando and Krow, these will be rolling out soon!

 There are still a handful of these Limited Edition pieces available on BackerKit if you didn't pick one up during the campaign!

2) While we didn't hit the $24,000 stretch goal to pay Fernando to bump the second chapter up on his schedule, we still wanted to reward everyone for helping us get so far above our initial goal. We will, therefore, be including a Chapter 2 preview in the print and digital editions of White Heron Chapter 1. We haven't determined how many pages this will be, as it will basically depend on how far Fernando can get before our printing deadline. We have set late April as our target for a preview batch of the books (this will coincide with C2E2 which is our first opportunity to present a polished product to comic companies). This should enable us to hit our May shipping goal. We do ask that digital backers be patient, as adding the extra pages has delayed sending out the digital copies until late April. We apologize, and hope that you will enjoy the additional material! 

3) Ship It Now backers: I am Shipping THIS WEEK. If you have added the Ship It Now option on BackerKit, please double check your address, as I will lock down your survey once I ship products! If you want to add Ship It Now, you can do so on your BackerKit survey! The following products will be going out this week to Ship It Now pledges:

Surveys and Pre-Orders are LIVE

Howdy Backers! 

As you have probably already noticed, the surveys on BackerKit went live today. There's no rush on completing them (unless you want the "ship it now" option!!), so take your time. I will not lock down surveys and addresses until a few weeks prior to shipping (April/May timeframe). 

A couple quick things:

Kickstarter add-ons are just that... Kickstarter only! They will not be available to the Pre-Order folks, just you my dear early Backers! So, if you added an item, please allocate the additional funds to the "TIP JAR" option and respond to the survey question with your add-ons.

I will also be potentially adding a couple new "BackerKit" exclusive items, we're still in talks with Fernando on those, but I will let you know if and when they go live.

Remember, if we hit $4200 in the BackerKit, we will be including the second White Heron chapter for FREE! So share that Pre-Order link!
