Howdy backers! We have just shy of two weeks to go on this Kickstarter and we're moving along towards our $15,000 stretch goal which will fund 5x7 mini prints with all physical tiers plus a downloadable version for all digital tiers!

This part of the Kickstarter is always a little bit quiet, but we've been really pleased with the momentum this year! Please continue to share so that we can bring more White Heron to life! Our ultimate goal is to be able to produce more pages of White Heron, so that it can become an ongoing series. This project will cover printing on the first chapter and should go a long way towards covering art costs for chapter 2! Hurray!

Break open the champagne, backers - our first stretch goal is FULLY FUNDED!!!

I have added a $20 tier that includes the White Heron Issue 1 print edition plus the charm. The charm is an $8 add-on for all other tiers (shipping included for both U.S. and International. If you have pledged for a tier that includes a White Heron Limited Edition Statue, you will AUTOMATICALLY receive a charm with your package!

So... what's next??? Well, our $15,000 stretch goal includes something for everyone! We're going to be creating prints to be included with EVERY pledge level! All backers receiving a physical reward will automatically receive a 5x7 White Heron mini-print with their shipment and all digital backers will receive a link for a downloadable print. What's the print going to look like? Stay tuned to find out!

White Heron Issue 1 Hardcover survey, plus new Spinnerette Hardcover Tier

Howdy Backers! We're chugging along pretty well on our first stretch goal, so it's time to start thinking about stretch goal number 2!

Several people have asked whether or not White Heron Issue 1 would be available in hardcover format as a stretch goal. My initial response was that we'd probably wait to do hardcovers until we produced a full "volume" like we did with Spinnerette, but I'd like to get all of you to provide some input before we make that decision. 

So here's the scoop: 

White Heron Issue 1 is only 50 pages, so it's about a third the size of the Spinnerette books. 

The price difference to make a hardcover versus a softcover is pretty high, so the book cost would jump from $10 plus shipping to $20 to $25 plus shipping depending on how many books we print. 

We're hoping to make this an ongoing series (hence the Kickstarter!!), so we'll hopefully eventually be printing a larger collection that WILL be available in hardcover. 

If we decide to go forward with Issue 1 hardcovers, these will be KICKSTARTER ONLY, so you would be getting an exclusive item that we will NOT be selling at conventions or online.

P.S. I have added a new tier with all of the Spinnerette hardcovers but NO statue for those who have requested it!

Well, you guys moved SO fast! I am incredibly humbled by your support. We're still working on further stretch goals for you and, as you can see, the "Goal" graphic I posted on the main page is already woefully outdated! So... THANK YOU! 

I'm pleased to announce our very first stretch goal for this project will be Chibi Charms of White Heron (see image above), drawn by our incredibly talented Spinnerette artist, Rocio Zucchi. If you've been on our Patreon, you may be familiar with the previous charms Rocio has helped us to produce. These are double sided clear acrylic charms that can be hung from your cell phones, clipped to your key chains, hung from your rear view mirror... the possibilities are endless and the charms are adorable! 

These charms will be available as an add-on if we reach $12,500! The charms will be an $8 add-on for US (all backers, including pdf) or International (with purchase of any physical reward). In addition, the charms will be AUTOMATICALLY included with any tier that includes a White Heron 12" statuette.

The first 48 hours... first character bio!

Howdy backers! We're at the 48 hour mark and are hovering around 99% funded! Hurrah! *Throws confetti* 

As promised, we're going to start releasing character bios every couple of days, so that you can get to know the cast of heroes and villains that have been hanging out in Krow's head for the last year or two! We'll be starting with Park, who may be familiar to Spinnerette readers ;-) 

If we hit our goal today, I'll post a second update with the first of our stretch goals!! It's a super adorable stretch goal, so stay tuned!
